About Think Fencing

Our Story

Think Manufacturing began in 1999, when founder Jack Fitzgerald launched Think Fencing while still at school. What started as a small idea, using recycled PVC to build safer, longer-lasting fencing for horses, soon became a lifelong mission.

Jack went on to study mechanical engineering but chose not to complete his degree, driven instead by the passion to make a tangible difference in the world of horse fencing. That decision transformed a small project into a company that has grown to become one of Australia’s most innovative manufacturers. His contribution to the industry was recognised when he was inducted into the Manufacturers’ Hall of Fame after winning the Victorian Manufacturer of the Year Award in 2023.

Our Philosophy

From the beginning, our purpose has been to solve complex problems through design, innovation, and sustainability. By rethinking how materials like PVC can be recycled and reused, and by investing in advanced manufacturing, we’ve built products that are not only functional but also help close the loop in a circular economy.

Our Three Pillars

Fencing

Think Fencing: Advanced PVC fencing solutions that combine safety, durability, and sustainability.

Decking

OneDeck: High-performance composite decking made from recycled PVC and ASA.

Equine Infrastructure

Titan Rail: Safer, stronger, and longer-lasting fencing systems for horse properties worldwide.

Innovation at the Core

At the heart of Think Manufacturing is Think Polymer Technologies, our dedicated research and development division. Working in collaboration with CSIRO, we’ve developed proprietary recycling systems and advanced composite formulations that set new benchmarks for sustainable manufacturing. This ongoing R&D ensures every product we launch is smarter, stronger, and better for the planet.

Our People

Behind every product is a team of passionate people. From graduate engineers to experienced trades, we’re committed to building talent from within. Our culture includes internal training across sales, engineering, and innovation, ensuring our team is always learning and leading.

We’re also proud to support the next generation of talent through initiatives like GLAM (Girl Leaders in Advanced Manufacturing), where we host workshops for aspiring young women with a passion for STEM. By investing in people, we’re not just building products — we’re building the future of Australian manufacturing.

Why Choose Us

From humble beginnings in 1999 to an award-winning manufacturing group, Think Manufacturing has always been guided by one belief: better materials create a better future. Proudly Australian-owned and operated, we continue to transform unrecyclable plastics into sustainable products that shape industries and protect the environment.
